If you don't have anyone to do it I will volunteer my services.

You are one grand lady! He didn't take you up on it yet, but let it get bad enough, right?

Nah, bandman, the milk of magnesia will fix you right up. Good luck!!!

Day five was the magic number for me. You've had some serious trauma...your body is rebelling for a bit. Check in with your doctor before you do anything is what I was told...and then the problem sort of solved itself.

They said that it could take several days...even more if you had the bypass.

Hang in there!

well the milk of magnesia worked, not a lot came out, lol but enough for me to be satisfied that all of me is working...

Hi

I had the same problem and took a dose of Milk of Magnesia in a glass of water. You need to take it in water to have it work really well.

Good luck!

I still have that problem occasionally. I use glycerine suppositories. They work in like 20 minutes.

It's a wierd feeling but they do work well. I agree.

gypj, it's time to update your avatar. Use your red carpet pic...so beautiful! You are doing great!!!!

I am on a prescription for IBS now (zelnorm), Should I continue to take it after the surgery?

I don't know...check with your doc to be sure. Maybe start a new thread and ask? You'll get better reples than on this thread, I'll bet.

Keep up the good work, bandman! :)
