Maybe a little Anxiety??? .... thats what Im getting.... I had one panic attack... but mostly flutters.... it is getting better... and if you don't have Anxiety everyday...or are not on pills...then Im pretty sure they will go away! :scared2:

I think it has alot to do with getting the 'date' ...the reality of it all!

good luck with everything :)

Ditto darkangel. Did you have to see a Cardiologist as part of your pre-surgical clearance? If everything's okay it probably is anxiety. If it continues after surgery I'd check in with your doctor. I had heart palpitations(flutters) several years ago - turned out to be my thyroid and a slightly irregular heartbeat. Both addressed by medication.

I went thru a big work up for heart palpitations and it turned out to be anxiety. I was told as long as the flutters are only lasting a minute or two, it's fine. When it's lasting for more than 10 minutes, you need to get it looked at.

Pre-op is crazy on your psyche! You're excited and nervous and filled with anticipation! GOOD LUCK!!!
