questions/concerns

Hi. I will be having the Lap-Band placed on 1/3/06. I am so excited but anxious too. I have failed at all attempts to either lose or keep off what little weight I did lose in the past. I am worried that I might be a failure again. Did anyone ever feel this way and if so, how does this compare to your dieting experiences in the past?

I am also concerned about hunger and the sinking feeling I get if I go too long before eating. I am a fairly new diabetic and when I get hungry, I get shaky and feel like I may pass out. Do you still feel like that with the lapband?

Thanks

I have diabeties (and know nothing about it)

but I used to think juice (pure sugar) was the only thing that sustained my life and now I know thats not true..

I havent had heartburn or acid reflux ONCE since the bans and I used to have it every day

the band is something I personally could easily fail at...I felt that way and I still so.. in my case it takes hard work and not even doing it right.. but I am ususally pitiful.

its better than doing nothing

I dont have a problem wiht hunger but some do
