slippage questions

I found that my band had slipped yesterday. I had most of my Fluid removed. My band slipped Monday so it was taken care of quickly.

Today I feel 99% better but have occasional pain in my stomach area. I suspect that it is my stomach moving back into position.

The tech that did my fill seemed to think that my stomach would return to normal. It was already starting to move back while I was under fluro. How often is this not the case?

Finally how do you stay good with almost no restriction?

thanks!

Hey I am also curious, how did you know that your band slipped besides goin to the doctor...Did you have any symptoms..Tuesday is gonna be a year for me since banding, and I have lost 80lbs, and I am doin great...But I developed slight heartburn, and tomorrow I am goin for a BS...So I hope that comes back negative!

Did they put you back on liquid diet.

I have a band slippage and my surgeon removed the liquid.

He did not say anything about going back on liquids. Just to watch out my chewing.

Sorry to hear your band slipped but glad to hear it is going back in place. Monday I called my doctors office and said I was on my way and I had to be seen. I didn't care if I had to wait all day to see my doctor. I knew something was wrong because I couldn't even keep a sip of water down. I had been getting sick for about five days and it just got worse. To make a long story short did a xray and it showed my band slipped. My doctor took all of my fluid out of my band and have to go back in a week to see if it went back in place. I'm praying it does cause I paid out of pocket and don't have insurance. So do u know if yours went back in place? My doctor told me that 90% of people this happens to fixes it self. I can only hope.....

Irini1 you might want to check with your doctor about eating. I am on a luqid diet for a couple of weeks. I would hate for it to get worse for you.
