Today I got my first fill

Recommended Posts

Well, I was pretty nervious about the fill because of all the sites I've read. Man it was pretty easy. I can't say it did not hurt but it is over and I'm filled!

I was pretty surprized too! I thought I'd get maybe .8cc NO I got 1.5cc I was shocked. He said it looked PERFECT!

Now it is back to liquids for 3-5days then mush 3-5day then try food.. There goes Thanksgiving for me:cry

Ohwell next year I'll be thin and eat:D

Congratulations

I have my 2nd fill scheduled for 11/21/03, just in time for Thanksgiving too. I won't mind cooking the bird at all.

Good luck to all you fillsters!! Wendy, be sure to get to the hospital early for your fill. Out-patient registration is crowded but beyond that the most time-consuming thing for me was just finding my way to the correct room. That alone took about 15 minutes!

Thanksgiving will be interesting this year, won't it? I'm still struggling with not nibbling before and after preparing a meal, so this will be a real test for me. Luckily I have other people coming to help cook so maybe I'll be able to occupy myself in some other way. Hell, just getting the toys off the floor will take a couple of hours. :D

I'm so glad I have to go to my parent. I don't have to worry about cooking much or cleaning..HA HA !

I'm tight this morning. I fixed 1 ounce of Co Co wheat and I've got maybe 5 bites down. I feel stuffed..I guess thats a good thing?

I have to travel to kids doc apt today so I'm a little worried about what I'll be getting to eat in the outside world today???

Okay well everyone have a great day!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
