Monday it is...
I love the choppy look on the back, and there is so much you can do with it. You could flip it up with a straightener or put tiny spirals on the sides. I think it looks really great on you. It really shows your beautiful face.

Sleep Apnea Test 10/18/10
Doc took my blood, 4 large viles. Going to check my thyroid, sugar, etc. Also, have to go for a sleep apnea test soon. Waiting on the call. My sugar has been running high the last couple of days. Checked it about 15 minutes ago and it was 193. Down 1 point from about 5:30 PM this evening. Seems like it runs normal when I fast in the morning, but then after I eat it spikes. Then it stays up during the day and night. Odd.... After I have my apnea test I have to contact my insurance company to see if they'll pay for my visit to the Lapband Doc. Figure I'll have a better chance at them saying yes if I have sleep apnea. Not that I want sleep apnea with all do respect. Nor do I want diabetes. Will update when I have more info.

To mask or not to mask!
:tongue2:I read this and laughed all over myself. Booger fest, I love it. And, I have to totally agree with you, don't tell me horror stories, of he said she said, and I know this girl that...blah blah blah.... I don't want to hear that crap either. Good luck with your surgery, you'll be just fine and sounds like you are taking very good care of yourself (and your family) -- booger fest, that is great, haha, so keep up the good work and Thanksgiving will be here before you know it.

It's ALL About ME!!!!
I've never thought of it that way. I am always worried to put myself first, afraid of making someone else think bad of me. BUT...you are absolutely correct, we deserve to be a little selfish when it comes to loving ourselves, because nobody can love us as we love ourselves. I like that! And I don't feel right now that I love myself. So I'm going to try and be a little easier on my expectation of me and try to tell myself it's okay to not look perfect. I think that when I start loving me, I'll start to see more beauty on the in and outside. Thanks for the inspiration....

My initial appt.
:thumbup:appointment went well today. have to have a sleep apnea test and blood work done before I go see the surgeon for a consultation. happy that my doc thinks the LAP-BAND® is a good fit for me and assures me it's a safe and practical procedure.
