Going for my first fill on Tuesday. After reading RachTX post I'm a little frighten now. There is pain involved when you get filled?? I sure hope it will be over very quick and painless since I have allergies towards pain :smile: I do have a question someone told me I should eat a light Breakfast before the fill. What you think? :thumbup:

I like to thank everyone for answering and giving me moral support when I was was worried Now I have lost 14 pounds and still counting Have my 1st fill on October 19 looking forward to it. My wound is slowly heeling. Now I have developed really dry skin. Can anyone tell me what to do. I'm using Lotion and Baby oil lots of it.

To Susie1662 would you please post more of your fantastic recipes. Everyone great recipes I may even start cooking now lol :thumbdown:

andreabenna how did you loose 23 lps in 3 weeks? I have been banded since Sept. 17 so going into my 3rd weeks and only lost 11 pounds What is wrong with me???

I had my surgery Sept. 17 and I lost only 11 pounds till now. Is that normal?? Also one of my stitches came open and it is not healing. My Doctor say's give it time but Lord I'm really worried at this point

I received my approval Letter about a week after my Surgery. I guess the Surgical Center you choose for surgery know what Insurance carrier will prolong there approval and who doesn't:biggrin:

Hi ellenmarie I had my Lab band done just 3 weeks ago and just as you I was worried what may could go wrong looking back all I have to say is haha Everything went fine and I'm loosing weight. What helped me was to talk to people close to me about my worries it really helps also everyone at my job was supportive and offered an open ear when ever I needed it. So worrying is ok just don't do it by your self We are here for you

Hi everyone. I had surgery on Sept 17 Lost 14 pounds and looking for more to loos ..it feels great I have been reading all of your comments and what I see most of you have gas pains I did had the same problem then I went to my local Health food store and bought Pepogest this are all natural Peppermint Softgels for gas. Hope it will help you as it still helps me.
