Finally hit the wall, would be dead or severely introuble in 10 years. I am poster child for metabolic syndrome. Have been overweight since childhood. yo-yo,ed all the time. About when I turned 50 found it impossible to lose weight any more. I am fairly active but just could not get it off anymore. it was time for drastic measures. wanted to have some part of my life where I could enjoy the benefits of NOT being FAT. not to mention I have had both knees replaced and losing 150 lbs would only help them last longer too. So here I am 1 day post band hoping I did the right thing.
