  1. I actually have a shirt with Cookie Monster working out on it. LOL.
  2. I'm shooting for 249.8 as my goal weight. Good Luck Everyone!!!!
  3. Thank you so much. You know exactly what to say to help ease my concerns. Can't wait until my appointment so I can get some answers and hopefully resolve some of my issues.
  4. I'm obsessed with budgeting our money for up to a year in advance, going on cruises, watching superhero movies, etc. I'm also quite smitten with my wife. I never want to know a day without her in it.
  5. Absolutely it has helped me!! I went back and did a 2-week liquid Protein diet and it jump started my weight loss again by helping me lose 14 pounds in 2 weeks. But I was also walking 10-15 miles each day as well.Did you do strictly shakes? Or did you incorporate mear? I have been stuck and was thinking about doing this.I did strictly Protein Shakes on weekdays and incorporated meat into 1 meal on each weekend day.

  7. I'm so sorry to hear this - they may be worried about hydronephrosis. I'm so sorry about your competition, but your kidneys are more important. Hoping everything is OK! Thank you. I appreciate it. I think you are right. Hopefully I know something by tomorrow afternoon. Yeah, hopefully by tomorrow afternoon I'll know what's going on. And I really like my Urologist!!
  8. I love the cheddar flavored skinny pop popcorn!!! I love your username.
  9. I have an urgent appointment with my Urologist tomorrow. They're concerned that I've gained 18 pounds in 5 days. So they're going to do an X-ray and run some tests.
  10. Thank you so much for the response and explanation. I really appreciate it. Just hate that all of this had to happen right before my final weigh-in.
  11. Long story short: I went to the ER just 5 days ago due to a large kidney stone. I had emergency surgery to break up the kidney stone and I ended up having to stay in the hospital for 1 night. My urologist also put in a stent that I'll have for 4 weeks. I get all of that. But how in the world have I gained 18 pounds in 5 days (from kidney stone surgery)?!?!?!?!?! EIGHTEEN POUNDS!!!!! And if that wasn't bad enough, I'm in a local Biggest Loser weight loss challenge that's been going on for 7 weeks where you can win $1,000 if you lose the most weight. I walked nearly 70 miles each week and closely monitored my food intake. I don't know if I would have won, but I was so happy with my progress. Unfortunately, the last weigh in is this week...and did I mention I'm up 18 pounds?!?! I'm so disappointed.
  12. How in the world have I gained 18 pounds in 5 days (from kidney stones)?!?!?!?!?! Ugghhhhh.
  13. Thank you. I appreciate it. I hope things get easier as well. Standing at a urinal for hours at a time in hopes to use the bathroom is crazy.
  14. Make that 5 stones now passed in the past 24 hours.
  15. Thank you both. Happy Easter! Still in a lot of pain. I have passed 4 smaller stones in the last 24 hours. Not sure if they are parts from the large 8mm stone or separate stones. Either way they hurt like heck!!
  16. You may already know this, but if you slice up Qwest chocolate chip bars and bake on cookie sheet, they come out just like Cookies. That might not have been helpful Yum!!! That sounds delicious!!! Thanks for that bit of info.
  17. Thank you both so much for kindness and concern.
  18. I know I don't drink enough Water. That is something I've struggled with even before WLS. I think I need to start focusing more on it. I appreciate everyone that has offered advice and concern. This is my 7th time with kidney stones and each time hurt like hell, but this time has been the worst due to the size, surgery, and stent. I'm also still urinating a lot of blood and passing broken stones. I know it will get better in time, but anyone that has had kidney stones knows how awful they are and you want to feel better NOW!! LOL.
  19. Yes lemon juice helps with certain types of kidney stones. And tea has been found to cause certain types of stones. I'm not sure what my 8mm stone was made of, but will find out more in 4 weeks. Just hate I have to have this stent in for that long.
  20. No it's not a direct result from WLS because I had kidney stones 6 times before I had WLS in November.
