Knee/Joint pain AFTER surgery and losing 20 pounds?
Thanks for the help. I'll probably give it another week and if they haven't stopped hurting then I'll make an appointment with my Orthopedic doctor. However, after looking at all of the side effects of my new meds it appears that my new antibiotics given to me after surgery can cause joint pain and tendon issues.

Knee/Joint pain AFTER surgery and losing 20 pounds?
I haven't increased my workouts since surgery a week ago. The only changes are: I had surgery, take in less fluids, take in less nutrients, take more meds (antibiotic, pain meds, anti nausea meds, blood clots shots, liquid ibuprofen, Multivitamin, and Calcium supplement). The pain only started 2 days ago and it is excruciating. I had no problem walking 2 miles before surgery, but can barely stand up from a seated position or walk stairs because the pain is so bad. I might think it was an injury if it was 1 knee, but it is both and just started 2 days ago.

Knee/Joint pain AFTER surgery and losing 20 pounds?
I was at my biggest weight just 3 weeks ago and didn't have any knee pain. However, I have now lost 20 pounds and only 1 week post-op and feel like my knees are going to break when I stand up from a seated position or try to kneel down. Anyone else experience this or have any advice on why I might be having knee/joint pain AFTER surgery and AFTER losing weight?

Nauseous 24 hours a day. Is this normal?
Thanks for that advice. I am having a difficult time getting my liquids and protein in each day, so I will try harder to see if that helps. Thank you!

Thanks. I think I will go ahead and give my doc a call to see what he as to say (since he might not be in the office the next 2 days due to Thanksgiving). Anyone else experienced constant nausea after the sleeve surgery? Office already closed and won't be back until Monday.

Hope you get to feeling better real soon. I'm 5 days post-op and suffering from constant nausea (even after taking meds to help).

Nauseous 24 hours a day. Is this normal?
I had my band to sleeve revision surgery on Friday, November 20th and have been nauseous ever since then. Water tastes like sewage and the Protein shakes taste fine, but every sip still causes me to feel sick. I take the anti-nausea pills, but they aren't helping much. Is it normal to feel constant nausea 5 days after surgery? If so, when does it normally subside?

I was catheterized during surgery and it was taken out before I woke up. However, I had to be catheterized 2 times post-op because I couldn't urinate on my own. Good times. lol.

Now I'm sure it is different for everyone, but in my case it didn't hurt. Akward is the only way I can think to describe it. Having that plastic tape pulled hurts way more than anything else in my opinion.

I didn't experience pain when it was removed. It just felt akward as you can feel it moving across your organs inside. Took maybe 10 seconds after the stitches after stitches were removed.

Thankfully my drain was taken out before I left the hospital and I don't have staples for my openings. Good luck having them removed tomorrow!

I am starting to feel a little better each day. I looked up my Rx's I was given in the hospital and one of them had seizures as one of their top serious side effects, so I think that is what happened.

Yeah it is quite nerve racking to wake up to severe convulsions. Never had anything like that happen to me before. As a result, I now have really bad neck pain as well.
