Rockstar! You are sooo on point! A fill is easier than getting bloodwork..

I'm 2 1/2 years out.. Fills/unfills are cake and I hate needles.. I choose not to watch... If your Dr had done them before, trust me.. You'll be fine.. Your port may be a little sore a day or 2 after but it's nothing.

Yea.. I'm stopping ASAP..

In the meantime I'm dealing with the back pain and skipping Aleve for a while.. At least till I feel 100%

MsMaui..... Yes.. I just started taking Aleve daily about 2 weeks ago... I've informed my Dr and have started taking prevacid... I hope all will be ok.. This is my first issue..

I started taking anti-inflammatories for a back injury that has gotten progressively worse over the years.. Apparently they make your system produce more acid. Not to mention I was trying to be good and up my water intake but neglected to remember lemons are highly acidic and should not have added then to my water, Esp after 6pm ... Needless to say, I won't be doing that again and have started taking prevacid... Thanks ladies! Xoxo

I had my band in Sept 2010 and the night before last I woke up choking... It was soo scary.. I've since had fluid taken out and have been on a soft diet since, but my chest still hurts.. I vomited twice after choking.. I think it was a combination of reflux and eating before bed... I'm just hoping the pain subsides and it's nothing serious. In the 2 1/2 years since I've had my band I've only had about 7 vomiting episodes. This is all new to me.

I had surgery on Sept 22nd, Got my period the day after I got home on Sept 23rd... Got it again Oct 26th as usual since I'm on the pill, it ended Oct 31st and I just got it again today.. HEAVY.. I wrote an e-mail to the nurse at the surgeons office and plan on calling my ob tomorrow. I've lost 30 pounds and don't know if it could be my body just dealing with the stress, food change, and change in hormone levels but damn it's driving me crazy...

I was banded on 9/22/10 as well and feel the same pain.. I've been drinking a shake spaced throughout the day, 5-5 teaspoons of sugar free pudding and a chobani. I've been trying to drink liquids as well, but am having pains when drinking crystal light and things that are room temperature or colder. I contacted the nurse at my Dr's office and she said it sounds like I may be over filling my pouch and to stick with liquids for today and to call her back at 2:00 this afternoon. I've been ok today with only a little discomfort, but really want to feel "normal" like everyone else I know that's had the surgery. I was planning on going back to work today, but opted to stay home till I know exactly what's going on. Hope you feel better!!!
