Hello!! I did not do the scan, ended up just staying unfilled and then slowly filled my band back up...but im doing much better! thanks for asking

My port is in my belly button but I don't get numbed... Doc puts pressure on the area and then pokes it through! Just feel a lil sting!

UPDATE: I cancelled my CT Scan and going to see a new doctor this Friday.... I still think it's too early to talk bout revision surgery and doing a cat scan. I feel great, i have no acid reflux and everything is going down just great! can eat a cow! I feel like im healing just fine. It's been 22 days since unfill also sooo hopefully on Friday the xray will show some improvement on my band and i can stop thinking about this possible slip! Although, I did gain alot of weight but that's my fault! please pray pray pray!

Does bcbs cover fills with dr elli? Waiting to hear back from the office but i have no patience. My old Doctor office covered fills I just had to pay my copay. Nurse wanted me to pay 250 for a fill and avoid acknowledging I had insurance...weird!

Your band and stomach need to relax... You will be feeling better every day more and more once the swelling and aggregation goes down

right away kai-shek! that night i slept right through without waking up choking on my reflux! it was instant relief when he unfilled me.

Ever since I had my complete unfill the acid reflux and throwing up went away! I can eat a whole cow with no problem, no problems getting anything down or chugging water. Some say a slip can fix itself and some say it can't so upsetting I'm going Sunday for my cat scan so hopefully the doc can see my band more clear and see what's going on :/

I know, im trying to be really good! im just scared that the ct scan will not show my band in good shape and the doctor will want to open me up right away! i feel rushed and bothered that he wont let my band fix itself...hes not giving me time here! he seems so obssessed with doing a revision surgery He said 5% chance that bands fix themselves...well yah cuz he doesnt give them time to!

How long did it take everyone for their band to get back to normal from a slip? My doc the wants to do a revision to fix a possible slip, he doesn't believe on band healing and fixing itself

I ended up switching my appointment for the ct. It will be 18 days since unfill, I hope my band will look a lot better then and show improvement! Still prob not enough time but i def feel better

Do you mind me asking how long and what kind of tests did you do? How long did you wait to do the tests after your doctor unfilled you? My doctor wanted me to take a ct scan right away after i got unfilled but that doesnt give your body enough time to heal and see results (i think)
