  1. This is good news to read everyone's experiences. I was banded on Oct 7,2010 and go in for my first fill Oct 27th, it was on Nov 4th but they moved it up. I lost about 20lbs between pre-op and post-op and put about 5 back on. That freaked me out to say the least, putting weight on that is. I seem to be able to eat better than most so I started getting crazy thoughts like the band is not there and its just the port....but after reading some of your post's here i feel much better. I will post what my experience is after i get my first fill next week. Thanks again everyone for your stories!
  2. I was banded on 10/7 and i was only tired for that weekend...now I don't want to go to sleep....What's up with that??? I'm still on liquids but I am trying to take in 50-70 grams of protien a day (liquid form)

I am so happy I saw this post even though its older. I was going through the same exact thing as cody max. I was banded on Oct 7,2010 today is the 14th and I feel fine, nothing bad to report and my hunger is starting to creep up now. I was starting to think wierd thoughts...anyways this post really put my mind at ease. My first post op appt is 11/4 so I am hoping i get my first fill then.
  4. Surgery date is this Thursday 10-7-2010, am now on the 2 days of all clear liquid. This seems to be the toughest so far out of the 2 weeks with all liquid. Anxiety filled not with the surgery but success....all kinds of crazy thoughts.
