5wks out
Remove soda completely from your diet. As for chips, why? Are you looking for crunch factor? If so, there are others ways to get that crunch feeling. If it must be chips, there are some good Protein chips alternatives out there that can be used as a treat, but not an everyday thing. By treat, I mean once a week.

Gummy vitamins
As someone who took gummies before surgery, they work. I get my levels checked every 3 months. Always in range. Since post-op I have been using chewable's and they SUCK!

CALLING ALL JULY 2016 SLEEVERS
Doing okay. Progress has about what I expected. If I keep this pace, I will meet my goal of 100 lost by Dec 1st or so. So far it's been pretty smooth sailing. 1-2 situations where I ate one bite too many. My new problem is my excess skin.

When do you delete your online dating profile?
At the top of FB you have the 3 icons, notifications, messages, and then the people/friend icon. Click on that and the drop down will populate. Go to see all or show all. It will bring you to another page. You should see something that see see sent request. Then you can go to his and cancel the request @gowalking. That should work.

I'm dying inside!
My ONLY regret with VSG is not making it happen sooner. Hang in there!! Are you actually hungry? Or is it head hunger?

Who did you tell?
The bolded; BINGO!! Going public is okay. Staying private is okay.

When to start the Plastic's process?
So what I am finding is a lot of Dr's do a no charge consult, but they charge 50 bucks to hold the appointment, and it is refunded at your no charge consult. The 50 bucks ensures you show up and don't do a no show.

Who did you tell?
I did the same thing. I dont care who knows and I answer all the questions asked. I also felt that I needed to tell those I'm with the most in case of an emergency. I need someone to be able to inform emts or doctors I had this done. I have been asked if I would recommend this surgery to others and my answer is always NO I would not, this is a personal decision to make and I will not influence someone into something this important, but I would recommend a great surgeon if you are interested in it. Sent from my LG-H343 using the BariatricPal App I am exactly the same! I have told everyone in my life (work, personal, and otherwise) and even others as it has come up in random ways since I began my journey almost six months ago. I'm expecting flowers in the hospital when I have my surgery on September 28! :-) I went public to hopefully inspire others who may be putting off something in there life. One of the most humbling things I've experienced is people commenting and messaging me that I've inspired them. I knew people would have questions, so I went public. I had already been public on my private FB page, and people were super supportive. I was asked by several people that they have family or friends who'd be interested in following, but I wasn't friends with them on FB, so some people asked if I would make a public page, and I did. Frankly, the best decision I've made. Also, I want to destroy the stigma that is out there with respect to weight loss surgery. Healthy is the goal, how you get there is irrelevant!!! Plus I've always been a relatively open book with my friends. Stay the course!! We got this!!

Guys who started over 400 lbs.
Here are my stats from my @SalOdyssey FB page.

Water tastes differently after sleeve :-((
All liquids the past week or so suck to take in. My pallet is not liking anything I drink at the moment, but I am forcing myself to get at least 60-70 ounce of water/liquid per day.
