I am a little smaller than you were then..but my boobs are about like that..I need my arms done too..I have lost about 80lbs..and as long as I get below 200, I am at 230 now..I will be fine..I really would like to get my tummy, arms, and boobs done..is it ok to do while still loosing..I am really ready..thanks geri

are you using the powder or the juice powder?? I use the chocolate..and use a blender..on pulse..works fine..geri

that is who did mine..i have had my second fill so i am almost 1/2 full..i still need more, although I did get stuck the other night and had to clear it out..eww..not that bad tho.. i am still not eating that great...i love cereal and it seems to be my downfall right now..everything else i am doing ok..oh and not much exersise..oppp geri

Some docs do put in a bit..and remmeber you were swallen from surgery..that goes away quickly...now even the first fill didnt do much for me..maybe for about 2 weeks, but even then I could eat more than I wanted..now 3 weeks out from 1st one I am always eating..ick I hate it I go on the 6th for my second one..hopefully that will be a better one..geri

actually 20 lbs is really good..you are supposed to loose about 10 a month...you figure in a year that is 120lb..which is great..geri

:hungry: my doc says we can eat solids in the second week..mushies, have much more cals when you eat more and more of them...I started eating more normal foods pretty quickly..I am not normal in that I havent gotten used to the protien, veggies idea yet...too boring..till I can find something I llike..for breakfast I either have a good bowl of low cal cereal, or my no carb high protien choc drink,,it is very good. 50grms of protein, and 1 carb, in the choc. I use water. Then for lunch I have had tuna, on bread without crust, sliced turkey, and sliced cheese..taking alternate bites, fruit, and a SF pudding. Dinner is not that great..I like cottage cheese, with a banana, or some taco bell meat with refried beans..and a SF ice cream bar. I was still loosing 2lbs a week, and didnt do a diet before surgery at all..so I started at 310 the day of surgery and I am now fluctuating between 291 and 294, at just under 2 months. So, just about 20lbs. Only this week has been bad because I am always hungry and all the junk is looking good again..since I know I can, shouldnt, but can eat it..I had some cream of wheat and then my sons brought MCds breakfasts home and they gave them 2 extra hash browns..eww yes I ate them...so, I know it is time, I am so glad my 2nd fill is next week..Mond or Tues..geri:faint: :hungry:

I had my first fill on 2/12, and up until 3 days ago, it was not like I couldnt eat what I ate before, it was just that I seemed to got full faster. I was still snacking, but, still not eating as much. Now, it is really bad..I ate like 4-5 full sized chicken strips, and some girl scout cookies..I understand that the first 3-5 fills can be this way..my doctor doesnt expect a good weight loss, or even a weight gain the first 3 months after surgery.. I go in next week for my second fill and I know I need it..I have gained about 3 lbs...geri

My husband is a surgical nurse, and works in the OR..I had this happen to me once and actually tried to grab it out. The anesthia guy said everything is ok mrs. rowland, and I went back out..my husband says this happens because the sleeping and the waking are very close together..they have to make sure you can breath on your own before taking the tube out. So, they slightly wake you up and then take it out. It is possible to wake up a bit too much but they quickly put you back out..is nothing wrong..just a bit scary...geri

I got the choc isopure sat..and it has 2 carbs..and is very good..i got the big old bucket..my son is sharing it with me after his workouts...geri

I get my first fill tomorrow..I dont know what size I have..right now I can eat pretty much anything...I still stay away from the big heavy meals, but, have had a couple...I am hoping that doc will be somewhat aggressive with me...I am doing liquids today, and will tomorrow and tuesday too...I am not going to take any chances...geri

I go tomorrow for my first fill...I dont know how they do it there..they seem to be pretty confident about everything else, so, I am thinking no fluro...I will let you know..also WHAT AB muscles??? LOL>..geri

I just got one yesterday it has 50 grms prot, and about 220 cal and the fruit ones have no carbs, I opptted for the choc and it has 2 carbs. I found it a bit watery but very good flavor. I am thinking of using half skim and half water next time..I am going to use this for breakfast daily...it seems to be easier than cereal.. I will probably still have my malt o meal once in a while...I got the 2 gal bucket..lol it was $93. you may beable to get it on ebay for less...geri:clap2:

My gambling addiction didnt start until my mom's death in Oct 05. I came into a lot of money, and went nuts to say the least. After adding it all up I spent over $50,000.00 in about 16 months. I lived in Oregon where they have these machines in every building. I started to sit there for up to 12 hours per day..The second my kids left for school, until sometimes 1AM. I sometimes would win, and then loose it right back. The Indian casino was about 30 mins away and they would give me food, rooms, etc..so, I just couldnt stop. The GA meetings were once a week in my 50 mile radious and not very good. I finally made a choice to move back to Arkansas which has no gambling in the state..nothing except horses..and no alcohol in my county. It has helped, but, I know the problem is still there. I do need to still get help for it.. I was also a drug addict for about 4 yrs in the late 80s-90s and I would do anything for money/drugs.. Please do not give her anymore cash. If she says she needs food..and you feel the need..get her some groceries, or put some gas in her car..do not hand her money...it would be better well spent going to the church or a charity..she is stuck in a addiction and will not stop until she hits bottom...whatever that may be...thanks geri

:amen: Its over and I am on day 6 post op. I am doing remarkebly well. No problems, except for intense pain the first couple days. I am going to start walking today. I am doing my liquids..oh joy...but not hungry. so, that is nice, not always looking for something to put in my mouth..well off to bed, and another day, thinner...geri:clap2:

I am post op 5 days, now. I was in pain in the hospital, and the nurse brought me round percodane, 2 of them. I was like, do you expect me to swallow these? Yes!, Shouldnt l have liquid? This is what he ordered. I was in so much pain, I broke them in half, she looked at me like l was nuts, and did fine. I am now on Tylenol white pills, seem fine so far, I take my meds every day. About 5 pills and unless they are all still sitting in my pouch, then they are going down ok. So, that is me..geri

Wow, it is here. That is if all goes well, with my pretesting today. I cant imagine anything going wrong. I got my psyc eval yesterday. That was a close one. My shrink had gone on vacation, and yesterday was his first day back. Luckily my son had an appointment, and his plane was late, so, l took his. My only concerns is that l have called the doctors office a few times without a response back. I am self pay, and they have the money already. I kinda feel like l am not important anymore. I hope they are just busy. I am in Arkansas and will be at St Vincents for the surgery. They did tell me too, that since l am self pay, l could go home after surgery. Only insurance makes you stay overnight. I am not comfortable with that, I want to stay over. My closest hospital to home is 20 miles away. Well, gang, I will post soon. Well, maybe this will be one new years resolution l will be able to follow. I am at about 305 right now, I am 48, and I am 5'10. I see one of you has lost about 55lbs in a year and a half. Just wondering that seems like a small amount for that long. Is that normal? I was really hoping to closer to 75lbs in a year. I am getting a bit nervous only because I am loosing my best friend. Do ya'll still want to eat everything in site, or do you just loose that compulsion too? Thanks for any info.. geri:clap2:

HECK enjoy all the attention.. I remember back in 90 I lost 50 lbs..I was still about 230 then, anyway I walked into a room and this cute guy almost fell off his chair it was so funny...but, I felt so good..I feel so gross now, I just want to loose and loose it now..I will worry about what to do then later..enjoy life without having to worry about seats, and clothes, and breathing..my thing is mourning the loss of my best friend the food..geri

HI, I am not yet banded, but, I have a phobia of vomiting...so I can relate..Just remember you will not die from food being stuck in your food pipe..only if it blocks off your wind pipe..and that isnt what pbing is. I am going to be so obsessive with chewing that I will probably end up pureeing everything I ever eat again..lol geri;)
