  1. Thank you so much for posting your comments. This is exactly what I needed - a reality check.
  2. Guys, Please advise, I only lost 15 lb in 2 weeks and actually gained 1 lb yesterday:( I see people here have much better results... Not sure if it is because I still cannot take all the liquid and Protein that is required or i am not doing something. Just want to stay positive and focus all the right things. Maybe, i am just having one of those days....
  3. K protein flavors: strawberry Kiwi Iced Tea Pink Lemonade Sugars - 0 Carbs - 5 to 6 r Fiber 5 g One more thing you can try is fat free milk, 1 cup is 9 gr of protein Also, you can try protein shakes but in a sml portions - i try to take 2 tbls (about 1 oz) about every 10 to 15 min. It helps. Good luck!!
  4. I can defiantly relate e to this problem, I had my surgery on Oct 26, and still straggling with liquids and Protein shakes. I found one than I can tolerate better than others. It is more like a juice, Isopure zero carb Protein Drink (it is ready made) -15 gr of protein in a 8 oz . Also I use Kellogg's Special K 20 Protein Water mix . (5 gr per serving). Just add a packet to your bottled water, shake and sip. Best wishes!
  5. The Bowel Prep will help “clear you out” so you will be less likely to develop constipation after surgery. My doctor recommended to take a bottle of Magnesium Citrate or 3 tablespoons of Milk of Magnesia (over the counter) the evening prior to surgery. (around 5 -6 pm) .
  6. I did not start the PPI, thanks for telling me. Will get one today...
  7. I had my surgery on October 26th, every day I feel better and more energized. Today was a first time I really felt hungry like starving hungry. Should I be concerned?
  8. I had a horrible nausea after surgery (October 26, so still a newbie) and doctor prescribed both the patch and lorazapam 1 mg and metoclopramide 10 mg. I only had to take it for few days and nausea is gone.
  9. Few Protein produts that i like: Helth wise -shake Shake 15 in Disposable Plastic Bottles (kiwi strawbery) Designer whey -strawberry has actually become my favorite Protein Drink Isopure Plus 0 Carb Protein Drink Alpine Punch, 6-8 Ounces Bottles Best wishes!
  10. Good luck tomorrow with your surgery! You will do great and it will be over before you know it.
  11. So great to hear that surgery went well!! Hope your recovery goes just as smoothly!
  12. Thank you guys, I am much better today. Had my lab work done, getting the list together for shopping tomorrow, getting the house in order..ect and started to look for that perfect dress for New Year’s eve.
  13. I can relate. Yesterday I was seriously freaking out after signing the consent form, but thanks to my husband and this support group, I feel much better today. Try to focus your attention on what you really desire inside your heart, what's important to you, and how you want your life to be. Go to that time, that moment when you said to your self- “Oh! Yeah!” I am tired of this weight and it’s time to do something about it.
  14. Thank you ! You are right I CAN DO IT and I WANT TO DO IT!!
