  1. I was banded in august 2010. I'm only down 50 lbs and feel like i have no restriction so today i got another fill. i am now at 8cc.... hopefully this will do it... i am very sore around my band which is something that i have never felt before. is this normal or can something be wrong. I'm worried that the PA could have punctured a whole in the band.. is that possible?? am i being paranoid??
  2. how do you detox yourself from sugar. that is my downfall.. i will skip a meal to have coffee and dessert
  3. i feel like a crazy lunitic right now. i went from not being able to really eat anything until monday, when i went to the doc, they decided to take 1 cc out.. well i think she took out sooo much more... im eating like im going to the electric chair. i performed a test on myselft this am... all i've really been able to eat is a granola bar for breakfast,.. now this morning, i ate 3 waffles with syrup and a small blueberry muffing.. wtf is going on... i believe she took out more than 1 cc... i went from one extreme to the other and when i called her thursday she said to give it 3 week.. there is no way i can wait for an appt on feb 10.. i will gain 20 lbs by then.... i have never gotten fluid put in and seen thru the xray machine. im thinking about switching doc. i only saw my doctor twice.. 1st for consultation and 2nd the day of surgery since 7/21/2010. i have never seen him again. is this normal... i live in nassau county. does anyone have any recommendations for a new doctor.
  4. who decides if they fill you under floro.... what does that actual do.
  5. how do i get a fill under a fluoroscope. what is involved with that and what can they see with that

  7. can someone try to help me. i was banded in july 2010. have only lost 50 lbs and have been stuck since sept 2011. have not been able to really keep food down so if i vomitted, i would get hungry and end up having coffee and dessert since i never had a problem keeping that down. knowing that this is not the right way to live i went back to the doctor on monday and they removed 1cc bringing me to 6.4cc. i know feel the total opposite. i can eat everything in sight. i feel horrible. i dont know not having any restriction at all. i have alredy made an appt for feb 10 to get a fill. how can 1 cc make that much of a difference. i dont have any problems eating anything... its so weird. i havent eaten for months and now in a flip of a switch, i can eat anything and feel that it is never enough. has anyone ever gone through this.
