At the time of approval, my BMI was at 40, but I had also been approved because of other health conditions. I am about to begin my pre-surgery diet. I am a little worried about the whole array of life changes, mainly eating habits, and the surgery itself. Because of my insurance, I have to drive to another facility to have the surgery; therefore, I will meeting my surgeon for the first time the day before surgery. From what I've heard and read, he sounds great. I just read a blog from a lady who had the surgery and can't lose. That's a little confusing, but the replies to her blog were a little more uplifting. So...we're at 15 days and counting...
