  1. I had the leg cramps several days after surgery... it was so hard.. It felt like huge knots in my calfs.. They felt so tight. I added apple juice (or any type of drink with potassium) and forced myself to walk and it got better by the next day. Good Luck
  2. This is all great information, I had my first fill this past wednedsay.. I had 3cc from the surgery and they added 1 cc more.. I am still not feeling too much restriction. I will start eating full solids tomorrow but I am still hungry.. I need to get rid of the food cravings.. Some more restriction would be nice. I go back on 12-22 for another fill.
  3. I had bruises where my incisions were and then another big one on the total opposite side. They told me that was normal.. not sure i want to know exactly what they did to me when I was under..lol
  4. I had my surgery on November 1st. I slept in the recliner for the first two nights then I was finally able to sleep on my right side some of the night and the rest of the night in the recliner. I am not finally able to sleep on both sides.. It was soooo frustrating.. I just wanted to lay down and sleep!!! Hang in there.. it gets better.
  5. I had my surgery on 11/01 went back to work on 11/08. This week is fine with work, however I am still a little tired and sore at night. Barb
  6. Great Job John... I had my band on monday and was home by 12:30. It all went very fast.. pain is turning to soreness but I have some leg cramps today that are making me worried about not getting enough fluid intake.. glad you are doing well.
  7. wow.. I will be 46 on November 13th.. this is my bday present too.. my surgery is tomorrow..
  8. I am on the last day of the pre-op diet.. mine is 3 EAS shakes.. which I have to say are pretty satisfying..plus i get one meal with meat and green veggie only.. now I think around day 4 was one of the hardest.. after that I started adjusting better and just stopped thinking about food.. My outlook was.. I have had plenty of food to last me a while.. and none of them was worth messing up my surgery. I know about halloween.. we had a potluck at work.. which I could not eat .. but only brought myself a sf jello..orange to hold me over.. I even made a cake for the party. Just think.. how awesome it is going to be.. !!!! look forward. email me if you need to.. for support.. You can do it!!!!:wink2:
