  1. It's when they put you under and balloon your opening to stretch it. I had to have it done. I was unable to get any broth or even water after a while. I was waking up with stomach acid in my mouth every day. It was horrible. I was hospitalized for malnutrition. It made me regret everything until the dilarion, it really helped. I'm on the mend Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  2. Yes, my boyfriend wanted it a lot before, now he's all over me all the time...it's freakishly sexy and tiring at the same time...lol Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  3. I had this problem as well. It freaked me out and I was in and out of my doctors office. They said my pylori was narrow and it was a strain for things to get by it. I had to have a dilation for me to finally be able to eat and drink without the nausea and regurgitation feeling Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  4. My nutritionist recommended Colace. I have been taking it a couple days and I haven't gone yet,but I'm hopeful...lol. I was using smooth moves tea, but there is NOTHING smooth about smooth movesand it made me feel bad.
  5. You're so awesome. I brought it to them today and they finally did blood and urine. They still want me taking meds for allergies, but I'm almost certain this is a ketosis rash Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  6. Why not try Atkins snacks? They're low carb and taste great. I have one that is chocolate and nuts and it's amazing. Better than a candy bar. See if that helps
  7. Hey Everyone, I'm slightly new, but not really..lol. I had surgery on 4/11 and while I have lost a good amount of weight, I have a rash that started in my chest and spread from chest to neck and face. Has anyone else experienced this? I did some searching and it looks a great deal like what is called a ketosis rash from being on low carbs, it is itchy and was red, but turned color and actually kind of hurt. It took about a week or so to get to my face and no allergy medicine works. Any guidance other than, "maybe see a doctor" will help. I've seen my PCP and they're getting me hooked up with a dermatologist. I am just really curious to see if this happened to anyone else...Thanks All

  9. Hi, I'm getting ready to go to a seminar to get information about the lap band, but I was curious about something. Is there anyone that doesn't get sick (vomiting) after surgery. I read so many horror stories about people becoming violently ill after surgery, does this happen often? I have a fear of vomiting and this makes me severly nervous..Help.
  10. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Best of Luck to you and WOW, I hope when I am able to get the band it brings me half as much joy as it has brought to you!!
