  1. well done i am 9 days post op..... I too cant wait to be skinny and healtyy again. I have a seroma at tha port sight losts of swelling and pain trying no to freakout as i want the best outcome. cheers nel

    well all the swelling is a SEROMA..... fantastic...... A pocket has developed at the port sight and it has filled with fluid... AKA...SEROMA... we dont feel that i have an infection,so thats good news... I have to rest and be on the lookout for redness...Infection. We want my body to absord it .... I hope it happens soon :thumbup: please feel free to tell me your seroma story

    my stomach is so sore the swelling, rumbling,blotting is so very uncomfortable, and believe me.... I'm no baby. It could be so many variables gas= constipation= having one hell of a tough time. I cant believe i have to work on monday .:thumbup:

    Hi can anyone help with this please? I was banded 5 days ago and i have noticed a lot of swelling at the port sight, one part of my brain says its normal and the other part says i hope im not having a complication , im having cramps and stomach pains ... has anyone else experianced this ... i have called my dr and they have told me to watch it ... but thats obvious ! i dont seem to have any redness .. pls write back if you have had this happen or useful advice .. thanks

    less pain today generally feeling much better than yesterday. just a few minor side effcts...like a little shoulder tip pain. Drinking more and taking liquid vitamins....it all helps. I am so excited to get this weight off and see the real me. I wonder how much weight i will lose. I lost 5kg last week and not sure what i have lost in the past four days. well time will tell

    Day two........not the best nights sleep i have ever had, a bit of shoulder tip pain and just could't sleep very restless. I am slowing sipping on water and a weight loss shake.... yuck working on the fluids. little waves of nausea no vomiting thankgoodness. So excited to have started this journey,one step at a time

  13. Hi Sharon.. I'm a newbie too, my date is set for the 16th of Aug. I would love to talk with some people that have had the band done, and are enjoying good results. All I hear is the horror vomiting stories and people having the band removed.
