i was too tight at 5cc had a 2cc fill on friday and went back last night to remove 1cc. They specifically tell you the band is in there to not have to drink your meals, if you can't swallow foods its too tight!

Hi all , today i was done with being too tight ...couldn't even swallow water right. had 1 cc removed after work. Down to 4cc again.

What "hacks" me off ..not sure what this means, is calling Drs in the USA cock eyed. We live in a land where there isn't socialized medicine "yet" , and have choices to see a different Dr. You go to Mexico if you like but we live in a land of greatness and opportunity. Don't tear apart all the Drs here b/c one yahoo wanted more information. My Dr is a 10 min drive if i have a problem, how far is your Dr in mexico? Don't insult where you live and are free.

well i lost almost a lb allready , i hope today goes smoother, im super tight ...may need a unfill if it doesn't get better...we shall see!!!

21 lbs is great in less than a month!!! congradulate yourself! Us August people are all at about 30 lbs or so. and we are 2 months further along. you are doing better than most of us!

Don't risk hurting yourself or the band post op!

ok Had my second fill , and it was successful! She actually pulled out 3 when supposably io had only two in last fill , so that means one was in at surgery. Had two more put in for a total of 5cc in a 10 cc band. She actually added 3 so i could feel what over filled feels like. It doesn't feel good fyi! i couldn't even swallow water. I asked her if that means im done with fills and she said absolutely not , everyone loses weight everywhere including under the band so the band becomes loser hence needing a fill.

Going for my second fill today! hope she finds the port . The Dr had to come in to show her last time. Im asking for an aggressive fill this time.

i got a part time job at my favorite retail store , and get a 40 % discount. Granted i work fulltime allready , but boy is it fun spending 100 every two weeks on a new nice outfit!!!

The 4cc band is a much older style. Drs. in the USA are using the allergan standard 10cc or Allergan large 14cc now. I asked pre op what he used , as i wanted the newest bands out there. Im glad i don't have a 4cc band im at 2cc with no restriction.

Looking to gather a group of us for friendship and support . Both Guys and girls!!!! lets get together!!!:wink2:

well im finally at the 30 lb loss due to the stomache flu. Hit everyone in the house, with me being last. The only saving grace is the band kept me from the puking,phewwww. now onto my fill next week!!!!! How are you all doing??? please check in!!! ~Jennifer

mine all had the stomache flu this week 2 sons and hubby and surprisingly i didn't get it.

maybe restriction will come next week amanda.... i heard sometimes its a delayed reation. I don't go for my second fill till nov 5.

my program fee also included a visit with the physcologist , all visits with the nutritionist , support groups with the Dr and his nurse there, visits with the nurse if you fall off track , and the after care through all these people . Me personally would pay it again for all this care. It keeps me on track.

I had a 500 dollar program fee...but there is a extensive program that is offered to the pts.
