i HAVENT HEARD OF THIS BUT I DO KNOW SOMETHING THAT WILL ACTUALLY FADE YOUR STRETCH MARKS. i BOUGHT COSMETYN ON EBAY AFTER I HAD MY DAUGHTER AND IT HELPED TO FADE MY STRETCH MARKS ALOT.

SO I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT MY INSURANCE(TRICARE) REQUIRES THE PYSCH EVAULATION. jUST WONDERING WHAT TO EXPECT. WHAT TYPE OF QUESTIONS DO THEY ASK YOU?

I thought with tricare a nutritionist was required, or does it just vary from doc to doc?

Well i'm at macdill and we dont have a full hospital just a clinic so i have to go off base. thats where my pcm is so i am not to worried.

What would you say is the hardest adjustment after you had the surgery?

So I just thought I would recommend a good stretch mark cream to guys. When I was pregnant with my daughter I got really bad stretch marks and I used this stuff called Cosmetyn and I worked really great as far as lighting my stretch marks. They arent invisible or anything but they are extremely faded. I have had my lapband but I figured it might work for some of you guys as well. Its retailed at about 89, but I found it on ebay for 25. If anyone is interested I could give you the name of the seller I ordered it from.:w00t:

I have seen a few people that said that trice covered the whole lapband surgery, but they had other fees that they had to pay? Does anyone know anything about these other fees and if so does tricare prime cover them.

I was just wondering do you have to go to the seminar that your potential surgeon is having or can you go to other seminars to count for your surgery. I am asking because my potential surgeon doesn't have one till Nov 25 but other surgeons have some in the beginning of November.

Hello everyone! My name is Shante and I am in the begining stages of my journey to get lapband. I just saw my PCM on Tuesday to get a referal to see a lapband surgeon. I have Tricare Prime insurance so I am nervous, but hopeful that I will get approved. My current weight is 257, height 5'6 and my BMI is 41. I have no co-morbities. Has anyone else had a good or bad experience with Tricare to get approved? If anyone can experiences they have had with the lapband thaat would be great. Looking forward to getting to know you.
