High heart beat rate after surgery?

Call your doctor ASAP.... rapid pulse is on the list of things to call about that my Dr. gave me. With high BP you need to be vigilant!

To fill or not to fill??

YUP! SUCK IT UP AND GET YOURSELF BACK TO YOUR DOCTOR!!! The PA may not have been tactful but reading your previous blog about that appointment indicates that you needed to work on your diet and habits, if you are running amuck in that area a fill is not the total solution. Get back to your Doctor, you seem to have been very comfortable with him. The only failure is if you, by choice, let this seSET BACK become permanent. Can you go to a support group? You need help - this is not an easy journey and supportive companions along the way are a part of that success. PICK UP YOUR PHONE...... NOW! CALL YOUR DOCTOR, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT..... NOW! Blessings! Granny Janette
  3. Just figured out how to check on you to be sure you went through with surgery. I am so happy you had such a good OR nurse to be your Guardian Angel! It's not a picnic but a year from now we will be laughing at ourselves, although this burping thing is SO unladylike!!!

Hang in there , stick to the rules, even the ones that sound silly, pop those suppliments and you will be HEALTHY and FABULOUS in no time!!!

    Blessings!

    I think I made a mistake!!

WOW! Surprised you went for reduction surgery so soon into the banding process! Mistake or not what's done is done so go on from there. I understand the pain after reduction or reconstruction is worse then after a mastectomy (which I had last year). About weight gain, you need to contact the nutrition consultant at your Gastric Surgeon's office first thing Monday and talk to her about what's going on with your weight and intake. It may be a post op thing of some sort. Until then be sure you are getting enough plain Water and that your Proteins are where they are supposed to be. Also be sure you are getting ALL of your suppliments in. Which reminds me, time for my afternoon suppliments! TAKE VERY GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF!
  5. So very glad you got the message!!! I look forward to reading your post op report! I have an insanely nuts day tomorrow of preop and personal errands but my thoughts and prayers for courage and vistory will be with you! Now I can go to sleep!!!!
  6. First: I cried when I read your note and had to sign on to reply, I am signed on for YOU! You are too young to live a life behind a wall (read my bio to 'get' that comment) Hey, girl... Did you ask your Doc how many patients he's had die during surgery? The answer will most likely be a big fat ZERO! My Surgery is Tuesday and When I come home Wednesday I expect to hear from you that you are feeling pretty silly for scaring yourself sick! DO IT TOMORROW AND LIVE, LIVE, LIVE TO BE A VERY OLD HEALTHY LADY!!!
