  1. Don't be embarrassed. Just jump right back on the wagon. Go see you doctor, they are there to help not judge so don't worry. You have to do whatever you need to take care of you and your family, so go get a fill and feel happy and confident about it. Good Luck!!!
  2. I was banded May 27th. My Doctor used the (SIS) Single Incision Surgery so I only have 1 scar around the curve of the belly button that should pretty much disappear after healing. I feel great. I only was sore for the 1st 2 days post-op around the incision and the port. I had to do clear liquids only from 7 days pre-op until today. Now I'm on full liquids x1 week then mushies x1 week, then game on. I am feeling the hunger come back now that most of the swelling has gone down. I won't be getting my 1st fill until the end of June so I hope I can control the eating until then.
  3. You guys are a day ahead of me. I go in Thursday. Did you for for the Lap band or the Realize band?:smile2:
  4. 1 day and a wake up for me. I get banded Thursday morning.
  5. I went in and had all my pre-op testing done yesterday and started my clear liquid diet. Yesterday was really tough on nothing but liquids and I went to bed at 7:30 because all I could think about was how hungry I was. Today has not been that bad on the diet. I can't wait until next Thursday! My Doctor and I decided I will get the Realize band.
  6. I will be having my surgery on May 27th. I also chose to go with the realize band. Good luck to you and your wife.
  7. My date is the 27th. I start the pre-op diet on the 20th.
  8. My surgery date is scheduled for May 27th with Doctor Van Wagner in St. Louis.
  9. Hello, My name is Jason and I got my surgery date on May 27th. I go in on May 20th for the blood work, upper G.I and EKG and also start my clear liquid diet on the 20th. Dr. Wagner's office submitted my paperwork to the insurance this past Monday and it was approved 2 days later on Wednesday. And they called me right away with the surgery date. So far this process is going fairly smooth for me, and the staff at Dr. Van Wagner's office in St. Louis have been awesome. I will post pre-op pics soon.
  10. My date is also on May 27th. I start my clear liquid diet on the 20th. Dr. is only making me do the diet for 7 days. I hope for my families sake I don't get too crabby. I opted for the realize band.
  11. I start my pre-op diet May 20th with a May 27th surgery date. I guess I'm lucky I only have to be on clear liquids for a week I hope for my families sake I don't get too crabby on the diet. Good luck with your surgery and God bless you and yours.
