How are you doing these days? I'm now a little more than 7 months out, I'm 70 lbs down and have reached my goal weight. Well close enough to call it anyway. I am holding steady just under 145. (My goal was 140) Give us an update!

Are you still around? I was banded on Aug 9th as secheduled. I have lost 54 pounds since I couldn't be happier!

I'm now 3 weeks out from surgery and am feeling great. I lost 7 pounds in the first week but the scale has stalled there. My body is definitely changing though. I see differences in my neck/face, my tummy looks deflated, and my legs are slimmer. I've started working out on my treadmill which probably is adding muscle and negating the fat loss. Hope all the August Rushers are also successful! :cursing:

Hey everyone! I'm scheduled for August 9th. I have a pre-op phone conference scheduled for 10am tomorrow w/ my scheduler. I know from my info packet that I will be on a 870 calorie diet for the next week. Bariatric Advantage shakes and one small meal. Good luck to everyone being banded this week! My immediate family knows but I haven't told anyone else. I probably will once I start losing weight if they ask but I'm not volunteering the info.

Hi, I'm Sarah. We have surgery scheduled for the same day. 8/9/10! I'm not on a pre-op diet yet. For one week prior to surgery I'll be on 2 protein shakes and a Lean cuisine/ day calories not to exceed 873. They want me to lose 5-10 pounds that week mostly to shrink my liver. I will do my pre-op labs and EKG this week.

I haven't read this whole thread but I have a surgery date of 8/9/10. I have an appt with my pcp to get labs and an EKG ordered tomorrow. :tt2:

Hey! How's it going? I got the call on July 8th that I have been approved by my insurance for surgery! I am scheduled for August 9th. I still have some labs and an EKG to get done but I'm sure that will be fine. How's your journey shaping up?
