I have been overweight since getting married 25 years ago. I got married at 118. In college I was anywhere between 120-140. After getting pregnant I went up to 160. I am now at my highest ever. I have only lost weight succesfully twice. Both times required many hours a day exercising and eating a very low-fat diet. I am lucky, because I don't have any known co-morbidities. I am a teacher and am looking forwards to this surgery. I turn 50 this year and this is my birthday present to me!!!
