  1. my band was too tight for 7 months i only lost 8 lbs in that time. i was throwing up after a few bites too, i just thought that was life with the band. i had some taken out right away but it wasn't enough. now i am seeing my dietitian and eating better. i lost 3.2 lbs in two weeks, not a lot but at least it was a loss. sounds to me like your bands are too tight. i thought i would lose a lot of weight since i couldn't eat but it doesn't work that way. good luck

  3. I was so scared that i backed out and waited a year to have it done, wish i had just gone ahead and did it in the first place. i think it is normal feelings you are having. i am glad i did have my band but only wish i had done it at the earlier appt. gl

  5. i was supposed to be banded a year ago may. i was so worried i just could not go through with it. i gave myself another year and i had not lost any weight. i just was banded 6-7-10. at first i thought what did i just do to myself, but now i am feeling much better about it. just wanted to let you know you are not the only one who was so worried about going through with it.
  6. i was thinking what did i do to myself also. it does get better. for me i recover slowly. i was banded june 7, 2010. i am just taking it one day at a time. the chat part of this site is very helpful as well. i am feeling better mentally about it now.

  9. banded 6-7 and had the same problem, actually had a normal stool yesterday. from what i hear the first two weeks are the worst.
