Hello Everyone! My name is Caitlin and I am 19 years old. If you have read my statistics, I am 6 foot 4 inches. Yes, I know I am very tall! I have always been overweight and only the past few years have I finally paid enough attention to my health to finally make a huge change in my life and do something about it. Like you all, I have been on many diets. Mostly weight watchers, but trust me I certainly have tried quite a few.I was in the process of trying to get a band for about 8 months and finally after my insurance company caved, they paid for half of my surgery. I was banded on July 12th 2010 and am so excited to begin my life the right way. On the day of surgery I leaned over to my mom and said "This may sound kind of corney, but it almost feels like I am being reborn today. I'm getting a second chance, and I'm going to run with it". I would love to become friends with any other bandsters or people who are in the process!
