  1. Thank you so much!! I've never had acid reflux and was trying to figure out what was going on since I don't really have any of the other problems. I have no problems at night, it starts up in the morning and gets worse as the day progresses but does not interfere with anything. The only uncomfortable problem is the bubbles just hanging out in my throat. I'm glad I'm not alone. I will give it a week or so! Thanks again!
  2. I think I am experiencing this also. I had my first fill last Thursday and everything seemed fine. Over the weekend I kept getting what felt like bubbles coming up in my throat when I swallowed, I felt as there was force pushing it back up so I couldn't get a good swallow down. Well as of yesterday, It has been non-stop. It feels like I have a swollen thyroid or something? I am able to drink water, eat with no problem. I have not vomited or PB. So I'm not sure what is going on?
  3. Thanks, everyone for your support! I know there is a light at the end of this tunnel its just hard to see right now with all this pain! Hang in there, Marisa, and if you need anyone to talk to I'm here for you!! I will try all the suggestions!
  4. I was banded two days ago and just started having very uncomfortable pain. I'm assuming it's trapped gas. I feel like I can't get a complete breath and It hurts every time I breathe in. The incisions ache a bit but are fine, but this pain is killing me. I've tried everything I can think of. It feels like when you eat way too much food and you're miserable and can't burp. I've burped a few times but It still feels like bubbles coming up but I can't get them out. I'm only on liquids so I know there's no food trapped in my stomach. I don't know if this is heartburn or gas since I've never had either. Is this normal?? What can I do to relieve the gas??
