I have fought my weight throughout my whole life, my dad's side of the family is generally overweight & I have spent soo much time fighting my weight, with minimal results, so I felt that I needed to FACE my weight problem and do something for myself, instead of live under the torment of diets & constantly thinking about my weight. I had a friend who had a Lap-band, I talked to her about it, I prayed about it, I talked to my mom & my husband, and they were all very supportive, and thought it was a great decision. I know the lap-band is just a tool, not a cure, but I am going to give it all I got, and expect the BEST!I know that this was right for me & I am thankful to Dr.Speigel & all the nurses at Methodist Hospital in Houston,Texas, that made me feel safe & comfortable throughout my stay. I am a Blessed Women!!!   I know that my best years are ahead of me!!!
