When I went for my pre-band lab work I had a very low level of Potassium they put my on 20 mq's twice a day for 10 days to try and get it up for surgery.. luckily it went off good! But now I'm on a potassium supplement!! It is very scary considering potassium is 1 of the 3 lethal injections they give you for death row!!!

Even scrambling the egg and mix it with the beans cheese and hot sauce will takes like a breakfast bowl.. yum! 5 DAYs until I get mushies I can't wait..

Aww I am excited for you my first fill is Aug 23rd so I can totally relate on the - scared about the needle- but just think we went thru surgery (cutting and stuff!) you can do it!!! Yea I've lost a total of 16 pds since surgery on July 13th but I am worried when I start mushies and solids in 2-4 weeks before my fill I'll gain it back so I am really watching everything I put in my mouth! Did your Dr. say if he put any saline in the band when he did the procedure?! Well good luck!

I just got banded on July 13th.. (weird to say, lol) I know this is only day 6 but I have not felt hungry and when I do force myself to eat (soup/jello) I am full by the time I get half way through. I just wanted to see if this happen to anyone else ... I am not sure if my stomach is still swollen or if my Dr. put some cc in my band already. I go in on Wednesday for follow up I am sure they will tell me then. I can't get my 1st fill until August 23rd.. hopefully I will continue not being hungry until then!

I was banded on Tuesday and the past 4 days have been horrible. The gas pain hurts its been mostly in my shoulders and I can feel the heaviness of the port.. is that normal?? I have 5 incisions which aren't bothering me its just the gas pain and the port!! I hope you are healing well- I know it takes time I just can't wait to get out of the phase!

I just had surgery 3 days ago I am taking 2 gummy vitamins a day.. The pain is tolerable after the surgery but the gas pain is something totally different- so I have been taking Beano and gas-x for 3 days. finally I tried Zantac 150 today and I feel like a totally different person!! Just fyi!!

My fast is for a total of 28 days 14 pre-op and 14 post op. I am dying lol. I am craving everything and I am on day 3 it is easier today then it was day 1 but the weekend is coming... : /. My surgery is scheduled for July 13th I need to loose 80-90 pds and I hope I have some of the same success rate as some of the banders on here that have lost that in 6-9 months!!! Hope everyone else is doing well!!!
