  1. Thanks Lady VS - I'm taking it easy and drinking a lot of my meals. I'm still trying to get in touch with my surgeon though, I keep having to leave a message (irritated).
  2. Donaboss, Trust me, I'm never eating something like that again until it's time. But I'm still freaking out. I even want to call my doctor and ask for a scan to check for a leak. I just can't stop thinking about it. Thanks for replying.
  3. I did something very stupid when I was allowed to start soft foods. It said I could eat soft, ground meats. So I had a piece of pork that was soft and I chewed it up extremely well. I also ate very soft turkey deli meat which I chewed well. Now I'm scared to death that I messed something up. It didn't say I had to puree foods anymore so I really didn't think it was bad since it was soft and I took small bites and chewed it up well. Needless to say, I'm praying to God that everything will be ok. I was a freaken nervous wreck before surgery that something would go wrong and I wouldn't make it, and now this. I feel like I'm going to have a nervous breakdown I'm so scared. I haven't gotten sick or vomited. If I have a leak, would I know it?
  4. I'm 3 weeks post-op and I've been worried about leaks too. When I was able to eat soft foods, my diet plan said things like ground beef, but I did have a very small bite or pork one day. It was very soft and I chewed and chewed and chewed it up, basically macerated the heck out of it before swallowing it. So now I'm worried that I messed things up inside. I've been very anxious.
  5. Good for you! Sounds like you are on the right track. Just had my surgery 3 weeks ago (VSG). Good luck to you.

Don't give up...call them everyday if you have too. They are working for you. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the grease! Do this for yourself, you deserve it. Good luck!
  7. Fooducate is another. You can track your food and exercise. But the really neat thing is you can scan the bar scan on the foods you grab off the shelf and it will tell you what it has in it, such as excess sugar, high fructose sugars, MSG, GMO''s, etc.
