Does anyone know if the display is waterproof? I do aqua aerobics twice a week and wondered if I could use it in the pool.

Barbee, I too am 66. I have done a lot of research, and I believe this is the only way for me. I am so looking forward to having something else to focus on except what I'm going to eat next. My health has deteriorated because of my weight, and i want it off so I can enjoy what's left of my life. I am sitting here on pins and needles, hoping the call comes this week that I am approved for surgery. I can't wait to start my new life.

I am sorry you are having so much trouble. If I were you, I would go to another doctor and explain the situation. That doctor can then request your records. If I am not mistaken, I believe your present doctor is obligated to send him your records. Your present doctor sounds like a quack. Good luck.

Hello everyone. My name is Marilyn. I am seeing the specialists and having the tests done right now, and I hope to be approved to have the surgery in April. I am having a difficult time deciding whether to have lap band or gastric bypass. My initial thought was lap band. I met with the required psychologist yesterday, and he said because of my diabetes I should have the gastric bypass. I am so confused. I made another appointment to speak with my surgeon. I know she leans toward gastric bypass but I want to discuss the pros and cons of both.
