hope you get all sorted fullfat that tulia is a pure bitch and just messes peep's around all the time,ive heard loads of bad stories about her,pearce you have 10 days on liquid's first lol,but anyway for mushy stage you could try milky weetabix or porrige,thicker soups,grilled chicken or put it in the oven with garlic or chille powder over it for taste with some veg and mashed pot with a little gravy and you could try salmon or smoked haddock they are really nice i think pasta would have to be well cooked and prob in a sauce to soften it even more like carbonara or bolgnaise,good luck if you come up with any good ideas let us know.ps are you gonna get a protein shake i have one or two each day lol:blush:

hi kerry try salmon and bit of cottage cheese i love it cant wait to have it lol and also i take chewable vit c and kids multivitamins now so if i was you i would try it,im gonna go the chemis and get a high protein shake also to take once a day to boost me lol.FINALLY SHER lol least its on for now ha ha:tt2:

just thought i would mention sometimes your band might not get damaged due to fills,it could have a fault in it and once you have been somewhere else for fill's then you have to repay the wohle thing again,bobo has been with wls and had no probs and he is doing fine however gary on here developed a fault and dr chris replaced him band for him because he used them for his fills it's just a chance you take i suppose im sticking with dr chris as i think i will need around 4-5 fills so dont mind paying him as my band is insured lol good luck to you all:lol:

Be careful md and pearce if you go with wls for fills dr chris wont stand over your band,if you go for fill with them then they look after you if somthing happens hole in band or port problems,a girl on here had her band damage with other fill's peep's bupa to be honest i know wls is very good just if somthing happens your not covered just beat this in mind

ps sher i havnt been to loo either i took some lactulose lol,dont know if it works yet

Emsey i took nurofen melts cause you dont need water and they go down easy plus i think dr chris gives you enough till you get back home his are dissolvable ones.Sher that is great no i havnt had stitches out just the blue one they took out in the hospital im gonna go on fri to see nurse and get them out and a check,what have you been eating,ive been having an actimel for brek,fortimel shake for lunch and tomato soup for tea plus drinks in between water tea etc and hot chocolate for bed lol,good luck emsey and anyone else going im still on catch up with you all.:thumbup:

no hun after surgery,i didn't lose any weight before surgery i was in holland and the food was awful so i lived on mcdonalds and pizza hut lol:huh2:

fullfat dont worry hun,when i knew i was getting a band i put 2-3 stone on lol,i didnt even do the low fat diet before surgery and i was fine,luckly when me and sher got done there was 2 other ladies also on the same day and none of us got the wind pain in our shoulders,just think you will have some pain the first day but believe me it starts to go each day my second night post op i was up gabbing in the bar till 12 midnight on Water of course but you will meet peep's there getting done,try and take a computer or portable tv for ya wife i watched loads of dvd when i was there the telly crap only one or two channels in english and take 2 mugs for tea etc,and baggy trousers for after surgery tracky bottoms or somthing you will be fine:wink2:

good luck fullfat for ya op,i am off painkillers dont have no pain at all just as you say a bit uncomfortable bending,im gonna book my first fill for 3 sept,ive had water,tea,coffee,hot choc,and tomato soup,i havnt stopped washing clothes and ironing all day im worn out lol,my blue stitch was taken out in hospital and the other dissolve if not i will just cut the ends and pull them out when do they come out lol,have you weighed to see what u have lost since op,karen the woman in the room with me has lost 10lb as well as me so om chuffed,the only other thing is my stomach is still quite swollen is your sher:thumbup:

hi all well im officially a bandster yay,i have to say for me personally the pain was quite bad the first day but your dopey anyway im 2days post op and feeling fine no wind in my shoulder and the pain isnt that bad,im still glad i got it done a mother and daughter who we met had it done 18 months ago and look fab one has lost 10 stone and the other 8 they were getting a tummy tuck so it deffo works girls they looked great and both said it has changed there lives i met so many great peep here,i was by myself and all the other peep partners looked after me so i was fine sher is fantastic we got on great the poor thing felt worse than me but she was getting there she has a great daughter her daughter looked after her and was checking on me absolutley wonderful people couldnt have done it without the great support and friendliness,and good luck to karen who i met there she is gonna join the forum so good luck and thanks to all that have wished me well,im getting ready for my big trek home now so i will chat in a couple of days,hope your feeling better sher and say thanks to your lovley daughter:thumbup:
