    4th of July Challenge!

This would be my first challenge. Count me in... I'm not familiar with the spreadsheet, can someone provide details? My goal is 20 lbs, by July 4th.
  3. I'm in the same boat. I've noticed no weight change for about 5 days. I've been struggling to keep up with my protein. I will keep trying to get the 60g - 70g per day that I need and hope to see some improvement in weight loss. I'm just not that hungry, but will try to get the protein in... Thanks for the thread and all the good advice.:thumbup:

    March Bandster Updates

I was banded on March 12th. The discomfort and pain has definitely subsided. I'm feeling good! I'm down 21 lbs. Congrats to All! Keep it Up!
  5. I had my band surgery on Friday. The only surprise was going from an outpatient procedure to having to stay overnight at the hospital due to slow drainage into my intestines. I'm very happy with my doctor's professionalism, not sending me home and making sure my upper GI was where it should be. The last few days have been pretty good, feeling stronger everyday. Not feeling hungry as I follow the required clear to full liquid diet. I was planning to go back to work in two days, but may opt to take it easy the rest of the week... Any issues with going back to work too soon? I'm happy that the procedure is complete and my life changing adventure has begun!! Yippie!
  6. Thank you for all the comments... I was very sore my first few days, but have been feeling a little better each day. The full liquid diet is going well...not overly hungry, just limited on variations of what I can have. I've decided to take the remainder of the week off to heal and really be ready to return to work. :scared2:
  7. I had my surgery on 3/12. I was planning to go back to work tomorrow 3/17, but have changed my mind and decided to take the remainder of the week off to recover. I thought the additional days will allow me to be ready to return to the stresses of the job, without worrying about any discomfort.
  8. Hi Jeri,

Although I have family and friend support, it's great to know someone who will be going through the same process.

You'll do great! I'm ready for the day to arrive... and start this journey.

  9. My surgery date is March 12th too. Good Luck!
  10. My surgery date is March 12th.... So Excited!
