I've looked into Lap band surgery for about two years. My husband has always been opposed until a few months ago. I've been through three very serious back surgeries and it has limited me in what I can do. I knew if I could walk, I could loose some of the weight. But with my back and weight I couldn't hold out to walk. So, I talked to him and he finally understood. He has been to every appointment and heard everything (good and bad) that has been said. That way he can help me. So, come Monday, October 18th, I will be banded by Dr. Srinivasan, at Emory in Atlanta. I can't wait to begin my lighter steps into my future!
