hi i posted i had troubles with my band ...and i had to unfill instead of 6cc ..there is 3.5 cc only in (16 cc ) band after barium meal .. the rediologist stated that the band might have slipped up and there is no effect or reflux under xray i called my surgeon he said that the 20 mm pouch will only appear under considerable condtriction so now i am concerned does upward slip correct itself or i have to reposition or the whole thing that the small pouch didnt appear on the barium x ray becausse its loose and i just need restriction i am posting this maybe someone has answers for me thnx for ur help :biggrin:

thnx for ur help i really appreciate it i think my loss is ok too i havent lost in 2 weeks now thats why i had the fill now ill wait for the barium meal and see that everything is fine and wait for the fill to work .. then may have another fill to reach an adequate restriction god .. this is hard and need patience .. :smile: thanks again

i posted this in the main forum i am posting again here i had my surgery 22nd of february .. 16cc band lost 9 kgs in the first month .. had first fill 4cc end f march second fill 2cc end of april .. since then i lost 9 more kilos .. so 18 kgs (39 lbs) in 4 months i went to have my third fill as i lost alot of abdominal fat and i feel i can eat more ..was partially restricted too 2 weeks ago i felt little tension in my port site ..wasnt a big deal went today so the dr wanted to make sure there is no leak .. and wanted to unfill . the whole cc in the band then fill it again .. but he couldnt get in .. after trying .. he found out it was partially flipped .. i read this happens in some people after losing abdominal fat so he could reach it if i sleep on my right side and ..removed all 6 cc then started filling again .. i choked .. and vomited even Water afterward he had to remove 2cc so now i have only 4cc in the band and i feel water while passing ..on Fluid diet right now how come i cant withstand the same 6 cc that were previously in the band??? what changed after the unfill !! then now will 4 cc be enough and afterwards .. do i have to go to a surgery for the flip thing?? i am having barium meal after tomorooow .. and he wants to check the placement of the band i hope someone help me i am really distressed jasmine :cool:

omg thankssssssssss i was so worried ..hopefully it wont need a new surgery my dr said the same ..i wanted to make sure its probably a swelling .. so now i ll have to fill up the 2cc again ? and add maybe 1 cc more to get the target restriction ?? with 6cc i felt partial restriction and i was taking care wanted to reach the sweet phase .. and lose more so wanted another fill .. or now i can be ok with only 4cc in the band

hi guys i was banded 22/2 i had my first fill after a month 4cc in 16 cc band second fill after another month 2cc it was then when i felt more restriction yet didnt reach my sweet spot yet an full restriction i go to the gym 3 times a week and have long walks i lost overall 13.5 kgs which is 29.7 lbs and i am ok with them i never lost all that i was discouraged before my second fill as i felt i can eat almost anything ater my second fill i feel like i am gettig there and i have a goal to lose another 20 pounds in the next 2 months good luck for everyone

i returned to the gym after a month for cardio weight lifting after 5-6 wks after surgery

yes me toooooooooo i had 2nd fill 2cc 1st fill 4 cc my band is 16 cc i havent felt a thingggggggg:( i am very unhappy i lost 26 lbs in 2 months but i am scared now what am i supposed to do fill again?:thumbup:

thanks dear for your answer :smile2: ill do my best ..i watch my food closely even if i ate something extra i eat less next day i need to stop el scale obssession i think :frown:

you know when your dr says everything is going on fine and i still look to the scale daily anxious and if i gained 100 grams or smthg i sit blaming myself i think i am just too worried

i have seen someone posted that it worked for them how often i should do it ? is it really that good how much weight i would lose ..from your own experience please give me advices or tips and tell me if i would have faster weight loss or not i lost 10 kg since my operation 22nd feb :smile2: i had my first fill last week i am always wondering is it working for me ?? please help :frown: thank you

thnx for your answer. i wanted to make sure .. my doctor told me you have to watch but not very closely .. and you have to change habits and exercise i was puzzled as it was my first day on normal food i joined Free Calorie Counter, Diet & Exercise Journal | MyFitnessPal.com and i calculated calories .. maybe i am just scared i dont lose as much ..or as i would want to i wanted to know what to expect thnx for ur answer
