  1. April 19th will be 1 year since I had surgery! I have lost 120 lbs so far. I still have not met my first goal of 180 lbs, I currently weigh 217. I have only lost 3 lbs in the past 2 1/2 months! UGH. I have noticed my snacking picking back up and choosing more fried foods. This is so discouraging to me. I know BETTER! I just feel like a failure right now I even have not been working out. I have had alot of personal changes in my life during the same time frame this maybe impacting me more than I thought but I have to get it together. I want to be at my goal weight by July which I know can be down very easy, it's more about getting my motivation back. I'm thinking about getting a trainer with a boot camp style training to kick my butt back into gear. If anybody has any suggestions please let me know!!!!!!!
  2. I was sleeved 8 minths ago and I eat grapes just fine. I do remember @ 1 month out I could only have canned fruits.

  6. I'm certain it was a mind thing but the first 3-4 days after surgery I swear I smelled like chicken broth
  7. September 19th is my 6 month anniversery!!! To Date I have lost 79 lbs!!!!!!!! I can't believe it. I wore a 26/28 the day of surgery, today I can fit 20 pants and XL tops. I was in that size when I was 15! Having surgery is the best thing I could have done.

I am down 40 lbs (that's with 16 lbs lost pre-op). I feel like a whole new person already. I have more energy, I feel like I've lost 100 lbs already lol! My surgery went VERY well and I would do it again in a heart beat. I had no real pain just discomfort the first week after that I didn't even need pain meds. I'm loving the new me, and excited to see the rest of me. I didn't have any weight goals from the beginning just what ever I lose is what I lose. I only weigh myself every 2 weeks because I'm not really concerned about the numbers. Well I have a wedding coming up in September that alot of family will be here for and My best friends birthday in August. I would like to be in a size 18 by both events. I started out wearing a 26/28 (3x) now I'm wearing 22/24 (2x). So it think I can make it happen. I got clearance from my surgeon to start working out with no restrictions so it's full steam ahead.
  10. It's so weird being on the other side now. I'm not just reading someone comments about their ordeal I can actually tell someone my story!
  11. Hey guys im doing well waiting to get discharged, I will try and post when I get home
  12. I understand my dad just cooked steak, shrimp, corn on the cob, peas, and baked potatoe. Why in the hell would he cook that the day before my surgery, just rude!
  13. Ok guys nerves have set in, UGH! I have looked at my son twice today and started crying and telling him how much I love him. He is 15 months old and basically was like quit kissing me. I have a cousin who speaks negatively even in her sleep whom I had to go off on and hang up on. I basically told her I live for my son not the rest of my family and I'm not gonna do anything that I feel like may take me from him. She should worry about who her husband is sleeping with than my surgery (sorry that wasn't nice but true). Oh well still excited for tomorrow!!!!
  14. BE STRONG!!!!!!!!!!! You are stronger than what you think!!! Hey Tiff your my new sleeve sister so I'm here for you.
  15. Back from the dentist, got my tooth pulled!!!!! It wasn't as easy as we thought but hey it's out. TWO MORE DAYS
