Hi my name is Amie and I have been overweight all of my life.  I really packed on the weight after having 4 children and now am bigger than I was a full term with all of my children.  My third child was stillborn and after loosing him I turned to exercise and eating right.  I lost over 60lbs and felt great I got pregnant with my fourth child and I haven't been able to get back to where I was.  Now I am having health issue due to my obesity.  I have highblood pressure.  I am having problems with my knees and have already had surgery on one.  I'm starting to fall apart.  My husband is very supportive.  He to started eating right and working out after we lost our son and he has continued.  My family room in the house is dedicated to working out from weights to treadmill and eliptical.  He drinks his protein shakes and looks great.  We have researched the lap band and bypass and I have decided that the lap band is the way I want to go.  Monday I call my insurance to make sure it is a covered benefit(thank god I'm double covered)and then make the appointment with the doctor.  I am scared and excited all at the same time.  Wish me luck.
