Congrats! Good for you. Keep up the good work!
  2. Hi All! I'm new to this site. I am a 40 yr old mom of 2. Getting banded 1/7/10. I am on liquids now. Harder than expected. I am excited about my new journey. Hope it all goes well. My main reasons for getting banded are to decrease the pain I have daily from being overweight (neck, shoulders, back) and so I can play w/ my kids more. I hope to have more energy and not be embarassed to run, play, swim etc. Need to lose at least 71 lbs. I have lost 9.5 on liquids so far. Hope to make it a few more down before surgery. Need all the motivation and encouragement I can get. Thanks!
  3. I am also getting banded on 1/7. I can't wait. I have lost about 9.5 lbs on liquids. I can't say I have been completely faithful to the liquid diet, but I have cut out the sugar. I hope it doesn't cause me any problems on Thursday, but I have been about to lose my mind just having liquids. Good luck Thursday.
