Zengirl... your talkin apples and oranges. THe VG band most times doesn't start restricting until 5-6cc..you have a totally different band. its equivalent to the 1.5 that you are familar with

no problems with body armor as far as i know.. parole officer now, deputy sheriff before.. band has been no problem.... i'm training for triathlon now Anyway I can join the June excercise challenge?

I am up here in Southern Weld County. Been banded since Sept looking for a local support group...Work in Denver area. Weight loss a little slow, but I have the VG band and only have had 2 fills so far.. I think the third one will get me to where I'm Going. Tom

With the pre-op diet and the post-op clear liquid diet your energy is what keeps you from doing alot. I had no problem with the flight. I walked 2-3 miles the day after the surgery to help eleveate gas ( they fill your stomacj with CO2 or CO or some kinda gas and if you don't walk it is painful. I didn't have to go back to work so I didn't I milked the energy thing too:) Tom

Anyone that says going to Tiajuana for surgery is unwise.. is unwise themselves!!! It's a twenty minute procedure that in the States cost self-payers $15,000 to $20,000... $1000 a min is BS..... Dr Ortiz has done ten times more lap bands than any doctor in the states. My dad is a Veterinarian, when I was young I watched him do spays and he was just out of vet school.. it took him forever... now he does three in the same time and better..
