This is the last straw for me!  I have type 2 diabetes and in September was put on a insulin regimen with each meal.  Instead of one long acting insulin shot a day I now have 4 injections.  Not my idea of fun.  So after a lot of research and reading many of these type of boards, I have made the final decision to have the WLS.  I have gone through the seminar, met with the surgeon, dietician, psychologist and now just waiting for the next step which is getting the approval from the insurance.  I'm excited and scared at the same time, but know this is the step I must take in order to become a healthier me!  This is totally for and about me!
