  1. Honestly, I can not bring myself to do it. I might if I was away but live in a small town and have not told many people. For now, I am just spending too much on food I guess.
  2. I think it was in here that we had a chart set-up where a bunch of us entered our progress. Anyone know how to find it?
  3. I am an operating room nurse and a part of the team that does the bypass as well as the banding. I personally went with the band as have other nurses I know. You can gain weight back either way.....it's all choices. The bypass surgery is a much more invasive procedure. Any surgery will have complications that go with it but the list is longer when it comes to bypass.
  4. How do you like your Shape-Up shoes? I am on my feet a ton when at work and thought they maybe good for posture.
  5. My MD wants me to have 64oz of water every day. the fluid from the protien drinks is in addition to that. Dehydration is huge! sip sip sip
  6. Thanks, I needed that. My banding was on 12-30 and today is hard. I'm hungry and the fluids are just not cutting it. I have not ever had restriction and that scares me a little. I am excited about the future and am taking baby steps. One good day at a time.
  7. Yea my port still hurts too even had some bleeding the last couple days but MD said all is well. Nice to have you a week ahead of me....gives me an idea of whats around the next corner. You have done great with your loss...keep up the great work!
  8. Hey there, I'm new to this website and blogging in general. My LAP-BAND® is new to me as of 12/30/09 so I guess it's a year of new beginnings. I am excited to have a place to get ideas and encouragement. Look forward to watching all of us reach our goals together!
  9. Nice response! When life hands you lemons....make lemonaid. The workout was a great outlet.
