Thanks guys I really appreciate your input. It doesn't seem to be as bad this morning. I will call if it doesn't improve. I am not sure how the stomach lies after surgery and was just thinking my ribs may have pushed down over the staple line and caused pain, I don't even know if thats possible. Again, thanks so much for replying.

Its been almost 2 years since I have surgery - the other day I was sitting on a small stool & reached down to pick up something off the floor – when I bent over I had a terrible pain under my upper left rib cage – now it is very sore and even hurts when I cough – any suggestions as to what it could be – I hope I didn’t hurt myself I was self pay and my insurance will not pay for anything – thanks for all your help

I was sleeved in May of 2010 . . .I was doing great up until around November and I found out I had adrenal fatigue and this has caused my thyroid to mess up. . .I had lost 50 pounds up until then and my weight loss has stopped. . . is there anyone else with thyroid problems and how can I start loosing again . . .thank you

One day while I was as town I had what I thought was a major gas attack. . . I hurt so bad for about an hour I thought I was dyeing. . . .well today it happened again. . .this time I was throwing up heaving. . . it felt like gas pains so bad I was going to pop. . . I couldn’t stand to touch my stomach especially the right side. . . this lasted this time around 2 hours. . . after I started heaving to throw up It simple shut off like a switch. . .. could this be something else like maybe a gallbladder attack. . .I have health insurance but barrowed the money for my sleeve because they wouldn’t pay. . . I am so afraid that if anything happens to me now that they will blame the sleeve and not pay for anything. . . can that happen. . . ? ? ? Thanks for everything fellow sleevers!

I know this has been asked before. . . but can someone please tell me what multi-Vitamins etc that I can or can't take with Vitamin D-3. . . I stared taking is about 3 weeks ago and it has made me feel so much better . . . I haven't feel this good in a long time and I am giving the vitamin D-3 5000 iu liquid gels the credit. . . I just don't know if i can mix it with multi-vitamins or Omega oils. . . thanks so much for the help. . .

I am sipping tiny amounts but it seems no matter how small I always seem to swallow air and can only stand a few sips. . . any suggestions. . . I am not getting hardly any protein shakes down. . . besides ice cubes thats the only thing I am trying to drink. . . .well about an ounce of apple juice. . . sleeved six days ago. . .Thanks!!!!!!!!:thumbup1:

Hello all. . . i was sleeved 5 days ago and have extreme painful gas . . . I am even having trouble drinking anything with out instant gas pain. . . and I am starting to get weak. . . Do you have any suggestions . . . I have been walking but that really doesn't seem to help. . . can I take too much gas-x . . . . I still have a drain tube that is very painful - I am having it removed tomorrow. . . could too much gas cause that sleeve to leak. . . :frown1: Thank you so much in advance for your help

Hello all. . . I am new and was wondering if anyone has been sleeved by Dr. Jayaseelan in Dallas, Texas. I will have my surgery there April 27. Do you have any suggestions on things I might need that you did not bring. Thanks for all you info!!!
