If you asked to be numbed is the best. Sometimes it is hard for them to locate the so called bulleye. But as for being scared I was also, now I know and its a breeze. I dont look down cause my port is kinda deep they have to use a 8" needle so its better not to look! Good luck

Look save your self some money! Go to walmart and buy the special K protien drinks. They are the best out there. The full feeling tht nothng will go down your throat, is because your stomach swells when you have a fill and makes the band tighter. once the swelling goes down the pin should go away. Not sure what size band you have but if it s a 10 u will need between 6.5cc to 7.4cc I found out finally after 3 fills where I should be. Good luck

I named mine " my squeeze" works for me. because when you get your fill it is like you are being squeezed! lol good luck

I also had it done on Dec 5th! Couldnt burp or fart but I got over that. Yes it does make you feel different. I seem to have a problem with the fills stayin in place. but have lost 32 lbs so of course I am very happy Good luck to you.

Youa re bloated right now cause you are filled with air from the sugery! try doing some wingmills ya know hold arms out and move them in a circle then raise arms and move left and right you will be fartin and burpin in no time!

Try to remember you arent putting in what you use too! things have changed as they should. If in fact you are drinking liquids that will help

Drink alot of broth! in my 1st 2 weeks i lost 22 lbs SO hang in there try to get yourself doing other things and water is a way to fill you up also until ur 1st fill!

Try Special K protien shake the best! and walmart has them 4 for 5.00 its a deal

wow what am i missing here 21 fills. Doesnt that seem like a lot had 2 so far and neither has stayed, that to me means there must be a problem, I have called the Dr am waiting to hear from him! 21 fills that is a bit much, did he tell you there is a leak? why doesnt it hold??

I had my surgery Dec 5th, and I would do it again. I need to burp but I shoved so much food in my mouth the liquids are a nice change.:thumbup:to all that are thinking to do it, do it! I feel different. I cant explaine that but I look forward to many things now that were not in my reach before.:thumbup:
