  9. hello eveyone! evweryrhing went as planned except having to wait a few hours past my scheduled surgery time to go under the knife. that was probably ablessinh in disguise because by the time my turn ame up, i was angry and annoyed that i could spit fire. the only thing i remember is the anesthesiologist telling me to take some deep breaths and the next i was waking up in pain. surgery went well. i has an upper gi series testerday mirnin and theb was put on clears. i ahvent really gotten much down. i am being disrchaged today. cant wait to be relaxing at home!

  19. Thanks for the encouragement, thinoneday. I wouldn't call my fears bizzare. In fact according to three pages of this thread, lots of soon to be sleevers and some vets have ane are currently going throught the same emotional rollercoster as I. 18 major surguries makes youmpretty experienced with being put under. For some of us this is the first time.
  20. Congratulations Lynda!!! I will be right behind you. Monday can't get here fast enough. Keep us posted on your recovery. I pray that it is smooth.
  21. Awesome Lynda!!! Can't wait to hear the details of your experience. Congratulations!
  22. Lee, thank you so much for your words of encouragement. it is truly amazing how much more atease i am about the surgery this monday. i am truly excited again. i really appreciate everyone on this forum. you are all so supportive. it means the world to me.
  23. I have high blood pressure right now also. Actually I've had since I was pregnant with my daughter 5 years ago. That is one of the reasons why I am so scared of something happening. I was shocked when my PCP gave me medical clearance for the surgery. I was just sure that I was not healthy enough to undergo an elective procedure. All the doctors cant be wrong, right? I just need to trust in the surgical team and have faith the God will see me through. I am actually starting to feel better than I did a couple days ago. We're sleeve sisters!! I cant wait to hear about your experience. good luch and God bless you and your family.
