  1. I would be happy to be your buddy. I am 37 years old and will be having surgery on Dec 3rd. I started my pre-op diet yesterday. 1000 calories per day. It's tough. But I can do it. I have 95 lbs to lose.
  2. My first appt was in Sept and my surgery date is Dec 3rd. It depends how fast your insurance authorization comes back. Mine came back in 5 days. Federal BCBS is great! Good luck!
  3. Unbelievable! You look fantastic. I am getting banded on Dec 3rd. Can't wait. You give me so much hope. I have 95 lbs to lose. Thanks for sharing your wonderful journey!
  4. I am having my surgery on Dec 3rd. I have taken off 7 days for recovery. Will this be enough time? I am a nurse, but I work in a doctor's office. No lifting is required.
  5. Sounds like everyone's pre-op diet is a little different. I am allowed 2 protein shakes,2 lean cuisine meals(less than 200 cal) each, 1 cup of veg and 1/2 cup of fruit per day. Just started it yesterday. My surgery is scheduled for Dec 3rd. I am sooooo excited.
  6. I am a December bander. Brand new at this...how do I put a Bmi/Wt ticker on this website?
