For the past three weeks, since my last fill, I have not lost any weight! I am eating 1000 calories a day and exercising 3 - 4 times a week for an hour. I'm getting very discouraged. I have good restriction in the morning, but not much the rest of the day. Still, I am not eating much. With the diet and exercise, I really should be losing much more. Any thoughts?
I was banded on November 9. I was on liquids for 24 hours and pureed (is this mushies?) for 2 weeks. I begin the "soft solid stage" on Monday - real food! My surgery was easy - very little pain and a quick recovery. My only complaint is that I am so hungry. I will not have a fill until December 8.
My surgery was last Monday, November 9. I have had no complications, but I feel so weak. I'm in the mushy stage and I just don't want to eat too much. But I can't be getting in more than 400 calories a day. This is making me edgy and uncomfortable. What I would give for a slice of pizza! Is this normal (the no energy part, not the pizza part)? Soft solids seem like an eternity away!
