  1. I have Aetna HMO and I had to do a six month supervised diet, shrink eval, and meet with a nutritionist. I started the process in May, had my last appt Nov 24, packet was submitted the day before thanksgiving and approved the Monday after thanksgiving.
  2. My surgery is scheduled for Dec. 22 also. I will be starting the liquid diet (Optifast) on Tuesday. Good luck!
  3. :thumbup:Just got my approval from Aetna today. Surgery scheduled for 12/22/09 and I will be starting 2 weeks of Optifast next week. I'm so excited. If anyone else was/is on Optifast, does it make you feel full?
